Artisanal Mezcal

Artisanal Mezcal — we utilize time honored traditions of artisanal mezcal making. The hand made labor intensive craft requires a deep understanding of the agave and its surrounding environment. Limited production, crafted in small batches ensures consistency maintaining our passion for quality in every step of our artisanal process. Valuing quality over quantity so our consumer can experience a premium mezcal. Maintaining cultural and traditional methods, prioritizing quality, so everyone will enjoy Argato's soft taste and distinct notes derived from our terroir and artisanal process. Our Community

We employ local communities and many of our team members, including women, are from a local indigenous village, Coxcatlan. Our team gathers weekly for a meal at the farm.

We employ local communities, provide equal pay, transportation to and from our farm, and provide health insurance and benefits to full time employees, a practice uncommon in rural Mexico.

You can't craft a spirit with soul, if you don't take care of the hands that make it. When you drink Argato, you support a community that cares.
